For over 13 years, Randy Burklund has been the owner and head mogul of Kinderlift, a business that creates and provides safety vests for young skiers.

Feeling like he needed to do something, he first launched the Ski Ukraine fundraiser by designing a Ski Ukraine T-Shirt, with a portion of all sales proceeds from his campaign going to the Ukraine Red Cross.

Thanks to people like you, he sold a bunch of shirts and sent over $7,000 to the Ukraine Red Cross.

Randy has recently started additional fundraisers. As with the Ukraine shirts, the profits will go to charity.

In the Hawaiian islands kokua means “Help”…it’s deeper meaning, however, is to extend help to others in a sacrificial way, with no intent of personal gain. It means to cooperate and pitch in without regard for self and to have consideration for others. The word kokua may also be used to refer to a person who helps or a caregiver.
